Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Specialist to lead the effort in developing, assigning, and managing maintenance strategies for field instrumentation equipment.

This role involves collaborating with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure alignment of maintenance strategies with operational priorities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Instrumentation Technology Expertise: Perform engineering activities covering all key areas of instrumentation technology including field instruments, control and shutdown valves, analyzer, and control systems.
  • Equipment Maintenance Strategy Review: Review and update equipment maintenance strategy for instrumentation (e.g. Transmitters, control valves, flow meters, analyzers)
  • Collaboration and Alignment: Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure alignment of maintenance strategies with operational priorities.
  • Asset Criticality Analysis: Understand asset criticality analysis and asset strategy management.
  • Maintenance Tasks: Preventive, Predictive, Condition monitoring tasks with respect to assets.
  • Standardization: Standardize instrumentation maintenance procedure and test intervals across similar asset classes.
  • Hazardous Area Classification: Knowledge of hazardous area classification, international instrumentation standards.
  • Instrument Maintenance Skills: Skilled Instrument Maintenance Technics with understanding of the preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of field instrumentation, including control valves, on-off valves, various field instruments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in instrumentation and electrical maintenance
  • Knowledge of hazardous area classification and international instrumentation standards
  • Skilled in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of field instrumentation
