Job Title: Assistant Manager: Business Finance

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager: Business Finance to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of product costing, plant accounting, and MIS.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, analyzing, and controlling Plant P&L, variance reports, and cost reduction initiatives. They will also drive monthly and annual financial closures in alignment with corporate budgeting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing, analyzing, and controlling Plant P&L, variance reports, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Driving monthly and annual financial closures in alignment with corporate budgeting.
  • Handling product costing (BOM-based), COGS/COGM, standard vs. actual cost analysis.
  • Owning capex, RM, and opex budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Driving value engineering and cost optimization & material accounting.
  • Monitoring and controlling plant inventory (RM, WIP, FG, spares).
  • Implementing inventory reduction strategies in coordination with controls.
  • Driving SAP-based reporting, automation, and controls (FICO/MM/SD modules).
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities and leading automation/efficiency projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with production, quality, SCM, HR, and engineering teams. Strong business acumen, analytical mindset, and leadership skills are essential for this role.

Required qualifications include a CA/CMA degree with 1-6 years of experience in a multi-plant, high-speed manufacturing setup. Expertise in SAP (FICO/MM) and Microsoft Excel is highly desirable.
