Senior Security Consultant Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned security professional to lead and execute comprehensive cybersecurity initiatives. This exciting opportunity involves implementing and auditing enterprise-wide Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) and driving strategic guidance on best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute ISO 27001 implementation and audit projects, including risk assessments, gap analysis, and compliance checks.
  • Drive the implementation of NIST Cybersecurity Frameworks for clients across industries, focusing on CSF, 800-53, and 800-171.
  • Provide strategic guidance on security best practices, governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) initiatives, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
  • Perform internal audits and prepare clients for certification audits in accordance with ISO standards, ensuring seamless project delivery.
  • Create and maintain ISMS documentation, supporting continual improvement processes and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Mentor and lead junior consultants, reviewing deliverables and ensuring timely project completion.
  • Conduct security awareness sessions, training, and workshops for clients and internal stakeholders, promoting a culture of cybersecurity excellence.
Requirements:
  • 5 to 8 years of professional experience in Information Security consulting.
  • Proven experience with ISO 27001 implementation & auditing.
  • Experience in NIST framework implementation and controls assessment.
  • Expertise in auditing cloud environments across platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of GRC practices and cybersecurity principles, with a focus on threat management and mitigation.
  • ISO 27001:2013/2022 Lead Auditor Certification is mandatory.
  • Prior team management or leadership experience is required.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse client needs.
