Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned finance and business operations professional to lead the financial management of our company. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership, technical skills, and attention to detail.

The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day financial management, including accounting, statutory compliance, procurement, insurance administration, and operational support for our office in India.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounting systems and processes for timely bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indian statutory requirements.
  • Monitor expenses, budgets, and cash flow to support sustainable business operations.
  • Liaise with our Australian finance team to support consolidated reporting, audits, and cross-border financial coordination.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or related field (CA/CPA/MBA preferred)
  • Minimum 5–7 years' experience in finance, accounting, or business operations
  • Strong working knowledge of Indian labour law, tax compliance, and statutory reporting
  • Familiarity with risk management and insurance procurement, particularly in service-sector businesses
  • Experience with cloud-based accounting platforms and digital banking tools
