Medical Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned medical professional to lead and manage the Emergency Department. The role will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, clinical governance, and operational efficiency within the department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership and supervision to the Emergency Department team.
  • Ensure timely, evidence-based, and quality medical care for all emergency cases.
  • Oversee triaging, patient flow management, and critical care protocols.
  • Implement and monitor clinical protocols, SOPs, and quality standards in line with accreditation requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments for smooth patient referrals and transfers.
  • Lead, train, and mentor a team of emergency physicians, medical officers, nurses, and paramedics.
  • Ensure 24x7 preparedness for trauma, medical, surgical, and disaster emergencies.
  • Monitor departmental performance, patient satisfaction, and clinical outcomes.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • MD in Emergency Medicine (preferred) or General Medicine/Anesthesia (mandatory).
  • Minimum 10-12 years of post-MD clinical experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role in a tertiary care hospital.
  • Proven track record in handling critical emergencies, trauma care, and acute medical situations.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with medico-legal aspects and compliance in emergency medicine.
  • Ability to work under pressure, make quick decisions, and maintain composure in high-stress situations.
