Senior A&A Commercial Real Estate Expert

 

Job Overview:

Citizens of the audit and accounting world are invited to apply for a challenging role as Senior A&A Commercial Real Estate Specialist. As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for performing and assisting with audits, reviews, and compilations for clients across various industries under US GAAP and US GAAS.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform and assist with audits, reviews, and compilations for clients in various industries under US GAAP and US GAAS.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and evaluate internal controls.
  • Assist with the coordination of day-to-day duties, including planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up.
  • Develop a deep understanding of accounting and reporting standards generally accepted in the United States.
  • Conduct independent research on US GAAP and US GAAS.
  • Develop reasonable time budgets and coordinate audit requests to meet time constraints and client deadlines.
  • Mentor, train, and supervise lighter-level staff.
  • Contribute to strong client relationships through positive interactions with client personnel.
  • Communicate with supervisors/managers and/or directors on work status and client issues that arise.

 

Requirements:

- CPA (or in process) or CA with 3-5 years of experience within a public accounting firm or US auditing CPA firm.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including responsiveness to US offices.

- Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities are required.

- Industry exposure: Commercial Real Estate.

- Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills.

- Ability to work well independently but also work well with others.

- Approaches projects with a sense of urgency.

- Outstanding analytical, organizational, and project management skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.

- Knowledge of Caseware, CaseView, or IDEA is a plus.
