Senior Contract Management Professional

We are seeking a seasoned professional with deep expertise in international arbitration, contract management and operational risk mitigation. The ideal candidate will bring strategic legal insight, negotiation prowess, and a proven track record of handling complex claims and contractual matters across global operations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage international arbitration proceedings ensuring alignment with global legal standards and corporate interests.
  • Draft review and negotiate high-value commercial contracts end-to-end.
  • Vet contracts from a legal and risk perspective to ensure compliance and enforceability.
  • Handle INCO terms freight agreements and vessel-related legal documentation.
  • Review and manage legal claims including vessel claims and operational disputes.
  • Analyse potential liabilities and implement strategies for cost reduction and risk mitigation.
Collaboration and Negotiation:
  • Negotiate with clients vendors and third parties on contractual and legal matters.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including procurement operations and finance to ensure legal safeguards.
Litigation & Dispute Resolution:
  • Oversee litigation matters coordinate with external counsel and represent the company in legal forums.
  • Develop and execute strategies to resolve disputes efficiently and favourably.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law LLB/LLM from a recognised institution.
  • Minimum 12–15 years of post-qualification experience preferably in a large listed manufacturing company.
  • Strong understanding of international arbitration maritime claims INCO terms and commercial law.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex negotiations and legal risk in a dynamic business environment.

  • Contract Management: Proven experience in contract drafting negotiation and administration.
  • Risk Management: Strong understanding of risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
