Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Institutional Growth
  • Identify opportunities with foundations, multilaterals, corporates, and government agencies.
  • Conceptualize proposals, pitch decks, and capability statements tailored to client needs.
Project Design, Management & Implementation
  • Lead project design and delivery of impact evaluations, landscape studies, needs assessments, and strategy advisory projects.
  • Oversee end-to-end project delivery, including workplans, methodologies, stakeholder engagement, field data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Research, Evidence & Knowledge Translation
  • Translate academic frameworks into actionable strategies and recommendations.
  • Produce high-quality reports, strategy notes, policy briefs, and impact communication materials that inform decision-making.
Data Management & Analytics
  • Clean, manage, and analyse large datasets using advanced Excel, R, or Python.
  • Develop and implement data quality protocols to ensure reliable insights from field data.
Organizational Strategy & Growth
  • Work closely with senior leadership to shape growth strategy and annual operating plans.
  • Design organizational structures, verticals, and role definitions to strengthen capacity.
Team Leadership & Capacity Building
  • Build, manage and mentor multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and learning.
  • Define individual and team roles during fieldwork, data analysis, reporting, and client interactions.
Qualifications
  • 4-7 years of experience in research, analytics, M&E, or related fields.
  • Strong theoretical foundation with ability to apply frameworks to practical needs.
  • Proven track record in proposal development, project design, and research execution.
  • High-level data analysis skills, including Excel and proficiency in R or Python.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within small teams.
  • Familiarity with development sector stakeholders and networks will be an advantage.
