Job Title: Accounts Head

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Head to lead our financial team. As a key member of our management, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's financial performance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monthly Reporting: Prepare and submit comprehensive financial statements to executive management for review. Maintain Management Information System (MIS) reports on budgeting, cash flow, turnover, customer outstanding, and collection statement. Evaluate these reports to facilitate informed decision-making and supervise the Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes with stakeholders.
  • Automation and Integration: Work with our team to automate the invoice process and expense module, integrating Tally Prime with banking, sales, and purchase Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions.
  • Statutory Compliances and Banking Support: File electronic returns and their assessment, including Income Tax (including TDS, Transfer Pricing, Advance Tax Projections, and routine implications), routine and case-specific issues under Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Provident Fund (P.F.) etc.
  • Liaising with Auditors and Finalisation: Liaise and coordinate with External Auditors for successful completion of Annual Audit and completion of appropriate Registrar of Companies (ROC) / Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) Filings.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) or Master of Commerce (M.Com) or Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance.
  • Experience: Minimum 15+ years' experience in the manufacturing or forging industry.

Key Skills:

  • Multi-function experience within the finance department for managing monthly reporting and quarterly presentation of results to the Board.
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting Packages, including Tally Features for automation, audit, and Advanced Excel Knowledge.
  • Strong knowledge of provisions of TDS, Income Tax, and GST provisions applicable to businesses.
  • Expert knowledge in Auditing and Accounting Reporting Standards applicable to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) as defined under the Companies Act, 2013.
