The Head of Financial Planning and Analysis is a strategic role that requires leadership, financial expertise, and collaboration skills. As a key member of the finance organization, you will play a mission-critical part in driving growth and making informed decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning: Lead the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Analysis and Insights: Provide actionable insights and trend analysis to senior leadership for informed decision-making.
  • Reporting: Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business initiatives, investments, and cost optimization.
  • Process Improvement: Implement and enhance financial modeling, planning tools, and processes for greater efficiency.
  • KPIs and Dashboards: Monitor KPIs and develop dashboards to track financial and operational performance.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Credentials: CA/MBA (Fin)
  • Expertise: Deep expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Experience: Proven track record in strategic financial planning and team leadership.
  • Growth Environment: Experience in high-growth or startup environments and, ideally, in manufacturing.
  • Process Improvements: Strong record of driving process improvements in FP&A.

A Typical Day

Begin by reviewing key financial reports and dashboards, identifying trends and priority areas. Lead team meetings to set daily objectives, collaborate with department heads to guide strategic initiatives, and present insights to the executive team. Mentor your FP&A team while driving continuous process improvements and ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.
