Technical Lead – Cloud Architecture

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead in Cloud Architecture to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of cloud platforms and experience with containerization tools and orchestration platforms.

Job Summary:

This is a senior technical position that will lead the design and implementation of scalable, cloud-native solutions using .NET Core, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure. The successful candidate will have a strong background in DevOps, security best practices, and mentoring development teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and implementation of cloud-native solutions using .NET Core, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure
  • Collaborate closely with Product, DevOps, and QA teams to align technical direction with business goals
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor development teams
  • Evaluate and recommend optimal Azure/AWS services for migration and greenfield development
  • Define performance benchmarks and perform system tuning
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET stack, including ASP.NET, .NET Core/.NET 6+
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms – Azure (preferred) or AWS/GCP
  • Hands-on experience with containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes)
  • Expertise in building and migrating applications to SaaS architectures
  • Strong understanding of microservices, REST APIs, gRPC, message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
  • Experience with SQL Server and NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB, MongoDB) in cloud environments
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM)
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and CQRS
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with AKS/EKS and serverless computing (Azure Functions, AWS Lambda)
  • Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture, OAuth2, OpenID Connect
  • Prior experience modernizing monolithic apps into cloud-native architecture
