Messaging Administrator Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Messaging Administrator to join our team. This role requires administering, troubleshooting, and maintaining hybrid email environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer Microsoft Exchange Server (2010/2013/2016/2019) and Office 365 & Exchange Online.
  • Manage Cisco IronPort Email Security solutions.
  • Implement and maintain Azure Active Directory & Azure AD Connect.
  • Configure and troubleshoot hybrid mail flow.
  • Resolve issues related to OWA, ECP, autodiscover, DAG, SSL certificates, and IIS.
  • Perform user and group management, including DLs, public folders, and shared mailboxes.
  • Handle cases involving Azure AD Connect, ADFS, and SSO integrations.
  • Execute PowerShell scripts for Exchange and O365 automation.
  • Maintain email retention policies, eDiscovery, and compliance configurations.

Requirements:

  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Exchange Server (2010/2013/2016/2019) and Office 365 & Exchange Online.
  • Experience with Cisco IronPort Email Security.
  • Proficiency in Azure Active Directory & Azure AD Connect.
  • Strong understanding of hybrid mail flow configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Strong skills in PowerShell scripting for Exchange and O365.
  • Deep knowledge of SMTP, MAPI, POP, IMAP, and Outlook Anywhere.
  • Experience with SSL/IIS Management & Troubleshooting on Windows Server (2012, 2016).
  • Microsoft 365 certifications (MS-101, MS-200, are a plus.
  • Familiarity with email gateways and Quest Migration Tools is a plus.
  • Strong customer communication and incident handling skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage critical incidents.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
