Job Title: Senior Application Support Engineer (Billing Applications)

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expertise in developing, maintaining, and supporting billing applications.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting Informix errors.
  • Strong coding skills in IBM Informix 4GL, Java, C#, VB.NET, and Shell scripting.
  • Ability to work on ServiceNow tickets – incident, request, and change management.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Support Engineer with expertise in billing applications to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in supporting and developing enterprise-grade billing applications, as well as troubleshooting Informix errors.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain billing applications using IBM Informix 4GL, Java, C#, VB.NET, and Shell scripting.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
  • Work on ServiceNow tickets – incident, request, and change management.
  • Ensure smooth execution of build and run activities.
  • Provide support for billing-related processes and systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
  • Any certification in Java, Informix, or related technologies would be an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in rotational shifts.
  • Hands-on experience in supporting enterprise-scale applications.
