Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an OpenShift Virtualization Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and operation of OpenShift Virtualization environments.

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, with experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to OpenShift. They should also possess strong understanding of IT processes, including incident, change, and problem management.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • OpenShift Virtualization: Experience with installing, maintaining, and operating OpenShift Virtualization environments.
  • Troubleshooting: Strong ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to OpenShift.
  • IT Process Management: Understanding of IT processes, including incident, change, and problem management.
  • Windows Server Management: Proficiency in managing Windows Servers, including patch management.
  • Network Understanding: Strong understanding of networking principles and practices.
  • Storage Management: Knowledge and management of storage systems and technologies, including storage management in OpenShift (PV, PVC).
  • Bare Metal Servers: Experience in bare metal server installation, rack and stack operations, and decommissioning servers.
  • VM Management: Experience in deploying, operating, decommissioning, and migrating virtual machines.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of systems.
