Lead a team of AI and apps engineers and managers in the development of content moderation solutions.

About the Role

This is an opportunity to work on a high-impact charter that involves building models to prevent and detect violating and low-quality content. You will partner with cross-functional leads to define near-term and long-term roadmaps for content moderation and work closely with LinkedIn India leadership to build up the company's brand in India, with a particular focus on AI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 30+ individuals and first-line managers
  • Partner with cross-functional leads to define roadmaps for content moderation
  • Work closely with LinkedIn India leadership to build up the company's brand in India
  • Develop and implement strategies for content moderation
  • Manage multiple charters including embedding-based retrieval, generative AI, AI productivity, core foundational models, etc.

Requirements

Qualifications

We are looking for a strong leader with a background in machine learning and data mining techniques. The ideal candidate should have:

  • 15+ years of experience in machine learning, particularly natural language processing, computer vision, generative AI, large language models, or similar areas
  • 10+ years of experience in people management
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Machine Learning, distributed key-value stores, streaming processes, workflow scheduler, recommender systems, statistical methods, and experimental design
  • A proven track record of delivering end-to-end solutions for high QPS systems that require working with massive amounts of data
  • Excellent leadership abilities, including the ability to communicate and drive cross-functional efforts
