Lead AI Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned engineering leader to spearhead the development and deployment of cutting-edge AI technologies within our innovative organization. This role involves designing and implementing state-of-the-art AI solutions, leading a high-performing AI team, and actively contributing to the company's strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Driving the full lifecycle of AI projects, from conception through to implementation and optimization.
  • Creating scalable, efficient data pipelines and AI model workflows.
  • Collaborating across departments to ensure seamless integration of AI capabilities.
  • Building, mentoring, and expanding a high-performance AI team by attracting and retaining top talent.
  • Managing agile processes and deployment schedules while fostering a culture of engineering excellence.
  • Partnering with executive leadership to shape the technical roadmap and represent the company at industry forums.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced AI engineer who thrives in fast-paced startup environments and has a proven record of delivering impactful AI-driven products.

  • Advanced academic credentials (Master's or PhD) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines, with a strong research background in machine learning and deep learning.
  • Extensive experience (8+ years) leading AI-focused teams, ideally in early-stage or scaling startups.
  • Proficiency in programming languages and tools essential for AI development, including Python and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Hands-on expertise in developing NLP and computer vision applications, leveraging libraries like Hugging Face, Spacy, and others.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate challenges from ideation to deployment.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively lead teams and interact with stakeholders.
  • A proactive attitude, passion for continuous learning, and the flexibility to work across different time zones when required.

Bonus Points: Experience working on cloud-based infrastructure, containerization, and DevOps practices.
