Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

Our organization is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Operations Specialist to oversee day-to-day accounting and finance operations, ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with statutory requirements, and overall financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update the general ledger and prepare monthly financial statements, accurately capturing all financial transactions.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, payment follow-ups, and reconciliations.
  • Handle bank reconciliations, cash flow management, and ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
  • Prepare and file GST returns, TDS, and other statutory compliances, meeting deadlines and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, providing insightful data-driven recommendations.
  • Reconcile vendor and customer accounts, resolving discrepancies and ensuring accuracy.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry in accounting software, maintaining proper documentation of financial transactions and records.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with relevant academic knowledge and practical experience.
  • 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector, with a proven track record of managing complex financial operations.
  • Proficient in accounting software (MS Excel), with advanced skills in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and other taxation rules, ensuring compliance and adherence to regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, and build strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
