As a Strategic Finance Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving our company's financial strategy and growth.

The successful candidate will oversee the development and implementation of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes that drive business expansion and profitability. They will be responsible for managing regulatory reporting requirements across jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to VASP, FIU, central bank, and tax authority regulations.

A critical aspect of this role is developing, overseeing, and continuously improving internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes aligned with crypto asset flows. You will also manage periodic audits—statutory, internal, regulatory—and act as the primary point of contact for auditors, ensuring effective risk management and mitigation strategies.

Additionally, you will lead treasury operations, including liquidity management, crypto wallet oversight, exchange accounts, and banking relationships, to ensure efficient financial operations.

Requirements:
  • Financial Planning and Reporting: Proven experience in developing and implementing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Strong understanding of regulatory reporting frameworks and ability to ensure adherence to VASP, FIU, central bank, and tax authority regulations.
  • Internal Controls and Accounting: Experience in developing and maintaining internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes aligned with crypto asset flows.
  • Audit and Risk Management: Ability to manage periodic audits—statutory, internal, regulatory—and ensure effective risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Treasury Operations: Proven experience in leading treasury operations, including liquidity management, crypto wallet oversight, exchange accounts, and banking relationships.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in finance, preferably in fintech or payments companies. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive grasp of regulatory reporting frameworks, demonstrated experience managing statutory and regulatory audits, and a history of collaboration with tier 1 audit firms.

Nice-to-Have skills include experience in the crypto payment or infrastructure space, familiarity with multi-jurisdictional licensing, and exposure to UAE tax accounting and cross-border payments framework.
