Key Responsibilities:

  • Submission Management: We are looking for a skilled professional to manage regulatory submissions, ensuring timely updates in the IRDA portal after concurrence with relevant stakeholders.
  • Registers Maintenance: The ideal candidate will be responsible for tracking, maintaining, and coordinating with business units and teams to ensure accurate regulatory registers are submitted to IRDAI in a suitable format.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Effective communication with regulators is crucial; our Compliance Officer will notify them about branch openings and closures, directorship changes, regulatory charges levied, and other necessary communications as per regulations.
  • Salespersons and SP Details Management: Our Compliance Officer will be responsible for uploading, tracking, and reviewing salespersons and SP details periodically using the IIB Envoy Portal.
  • Licensing Renewal: To ensure compliance, we require an individual who can guarantee all applicable licenses are availed, procured, and renewed within stipulated timelines and coordinate with stakeholders on licensing applicability and repository maintenance.
  • NOC Issuance and PAN Detagging: The successful candidate will issue NOCs for exited SPs and detag PAN from IRDA and Envoy along with record-keeping in the IRDAI Portal.
  • Telemarketing License: Our Compliance Officer will be responsible for applying for telemarketing licenses as per guidelines and submitting regulatory data to IRDAI as per stipulated guidelines.
  • License Renewal Tracking: This role involves maintaining track of and renewing various licenses, including PO and ISNP, along with relevant stakeholders.
  • Regulatory Checklist Maintenance: Our Compliance Officer will be responsible for tracking the regulatory checklist, which includes IRDAI data maintenance, registers, timely submissions, grievances, etc., completely along with stakeholders.
  • Reconciliations Tracking: The successful candidate will coordinate with finance, product teams, and insurers for monthly reconciliation sign-offs and follow up on gaps identified.
  • Agreements Maintenance: Our Compliance Officer will maintain and track agreements of insurers, SLAs of insurers, and commission structures of insurers.
  • Grievance Tracking/Data Maintenance: The ideal candidate will track grievances from the grievance team, insurers, and coordinate resolutions with insurers, business, product, and branch teams, maintaining the grievance register as per regulatory requirements.
  • Audit Initiation for Branch & Tracking: Our Compliance Officer will provide audit checklists and coordinate with functional audit teams to track audit resolutions for branches.
  • Compliance Check on AML: The successful candidate will provide compliance checklists to the MFL compliance team and coordinate and track AML cases with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Legal/Litigation Tracking: Our Compliance Officer will bookkeep insurance case litigations, open cases, and update regulators as needed.

Required Experience: 4-8 years in a similar domain.
