Senior Data Solutions Architect

A highly skilled Senior Data Solutions Architect is needed to design and deploy robust data pipelines, orchestrate complex workflows, process large datasets, manage vast amounts of data, and integrate with various APIs and CI/CD systems for a leading financial institution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing data pipelines to meet the needs of customer-facing applications, business applications, internal user applications, and business intelligence platforms.
  • Orchestrating workflows using Apache Airflow.
  • Processing data using Pyspark, Dataflows, and Dataproc.
  • Managing datasets and integrating with RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
  • Troubleshooting and creating documentation of all data components, including data architecture, logical and physical data models, database objects, and database administration.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in data engineering, NOT big data.
  • Experience creating, updating, and downloading jobs in Big Query.
  • Experience with ETL processing and transformation of data.
  • Experience designing and deploying pipelines, as well as experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub actions, Docker, and Jenkins builds.
  • Experience with Java or Python.
  • Previous financial or banking experience is mandatory.
