  • ">
  • This is an onsite opportunity for a qualified candidate to manage specialized risk management functions within the Enterprise Risk Management practice of a bank.">
  • The successful candidate will be deputed at Banks in the GCC region to establish policies and guidelines on enhanced monitoring of Treasury/Investment/ALM/Liquidity risk.">
  • They will also be responsible for valuation of Treasury portfolios – Forex, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Equity, and others.">
  • Additionally, they will provide independent mid-office monitoring support on NOP, Fixed income, FIG, Derivatives, limit monitoring, etc.">
  • Furthermore, they will monitor hedge effectiveness on a periodic basis and implement and calculate Capital charge and Counterparty Risk Charge.">
  • Technical analysis of Equities, Bonds, and Money market funds will also be a key responsibility.">
  • Limit monitoring with respect to treasury activities as prescribed in Internal and regulatory policies will be another important duty.">
  • MTM reconciliation with counterparty banks for derivatives deals undertaken and making/responding margin calls in term of CSA arrangement with them will also be required.">
  • Preparation of Regulatory and internal daily and periodical reports and Board notes on accurate and timely submission will be a critical task.">
  • Enhancing methodologies for counterpart credit risk measures like PFE, CVA, etc. will also be necessary.">
  • Periodic review of banks' new products related to Market risk and provide risk mitigation controls will be another key responsibility.">

Requirements:

6-8 years of relevant work experience for Middle East banks are required.
