Job Title: Risk Manager

This is a highly specialized role that requires individuals with advanced knowledge of risk management principles and practices.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing and mitigating various types of risks, including market, credit, operational and regulatory risks. This will involve implementing effective risk strategies, supporting risk projects and ensuring portfolio risk integration.

  • Support the Chief Risk Officer in reviewing new products, processes and activities to ensure alignment with relevant regulations and internal policies.
  • Prepare detailed risk reports for senior management, providing actionable insights and recommendations to inform strategic business decisions.

Key requirements for this position include:

  • 7-10 years of experience in risk management, preferably within an investment management or financial services organization.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in using risk models, quantitative analysis and stress testing, and proficiency in risk management software and tools such as Bloomberg, FactSet and Barra.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related field (Master's degree or professional certifications such as FRM, CFA are desirable).

Preferred qualifications for this role include:

  • Candidates with an investments/analytics background are suitable for this position.
  • Prior experience in wealth management, mutual funds, PMS or alternate investments is preferred.

Required skills for this position include:

  • Strong communication skills, report writing and documentation capabilities, sound knowledge of key regulations and ability to demonstrate understanding of investment markets and ex-ante portfolio risk management techniques.
