Software Asset Management (SAM) Specialist Role

Our organization is seeking an experienced Software Asset Management (SAM) Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and managing SAM tools and processes across the organization.

You will work closely with procurement, finance, and IT teams to ensure accurate software inventory and license entitlement records, monitor software usage, and maintain compliance with vendor agreements.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAM tools such as ServiceNow, Flexera, and SNOW, as well as strong knowledge of software licensing models and audit compliance.

In addition, you will analyze software usage data to identify optimization opportunities, manage software contracts and entitlements, and collaborate with stakeholders to align SAM strategy with business goals.

We are looking for a professional with excellent communication and collaboration skills who can work effectively in a cross-functional environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong knowledge of software licensing models and audit compliance
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment
