Job Overview

As a Sensor Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing sensor systems that integrate with automation and machine vision technologies.

The ideal candidate will have experience in sensors, automation, or machine vision and possess knowledge of laser triangulation, ultrasonic NDT, or machine vision systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and prototyping sensor setups using laser line profilers, displacement sensors, ultrasonic probes, and cameras
  • Developing mounts and enclosures that withstand heat, vibration, and industrial environments
  • Troubleshooting and iterating quickly to resolve challenges and ensure system success

Requirements include:

  • 3+ years of experience in sensors, automation, or machine vision
  • Knowledge of laser triangulation, ultrasonic NDT, or machine vision systems
  • Ability to work in high-heat/industrial environments
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements
