Job Role

At a cutting-edge educational institution, we seek an accomplished automation specialist to drive our technology team forward. This key member will be responsible for creating robust and reliable automation tests for applications built on modern tech stacks such as NestJS, Next.js, Node.js, React, and React Native.

  • Design, develop, and maintain UI automation tests for web applications using tools like Selenium or Cypress.
  • Write and maintain API automation tests for backend services using tools like Postman and scripting frameworks.
  • Collaborate with developers to define test strategies and ensure automation coverage across frontend and backend applications.
  • Investigate test failures, analyze logs, and provide detailed defect reports.
  • Continuously improve automation frameworks for scalability and maintainability.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience in QA automation.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript for test scripting.
  • Experience with UI automation tools (Selenium or Cypress).
  • Proficiency in API testing and automation using Postman/Newman or similar frameworks.
  • Understanding of software testing principles, SDLC, and agile practices.
