Senior Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, including salary inputs, deductions, bonuses, leaves, and attendance data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll for employees on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Manage salary inputs, deductions, bonuses, leaves, and attendance data
  • Handle statutory compliance, including PF, ESI, PT, LWF, Income Tax (TDS), and other applicable laws
  • Prepare and validate salary sheets and ensure error-free disbursement
  • Coordinate with Finance for timely salary transfer and variable calculation inputs
  • Handle payroll-related employee queries
  • Create and manage data and reports sent to JIO from HR payroll side
  • Take ownership of the Performance Management System (PMS) – ensuring timely goal setting, mid-year reviews, and final evaluations
  • Design and maintain variable pay and appraisal templates for different departments
  • Accurately perform variable pay and increment calculations based on performance ratings and company policies
Requirements:
  • Advanced Excel proficiency – Strong in formulas, pivot tables, conditional formatting, data validation, and logical structuring
  • Analytical and logical thinking for payroll data management and error resolution
  • Deep understanding of payroll processes and statutory compliance
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Working knowledge of payroll software (e.g., GreytHR, ADP, SAP, Keka, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
