Senior Power BI Developer Role Description


We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer to join our Financial Reporting and Analytics Team in Pune, India. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with over five years of experience in leveraging Power BI to deliver insightful financial reports and analytics. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of developers to transform complex data into actionable insights, providing significant exposure to senior business leaders and offering substantial growth potential within the organization.

The role involves working closely with the Finance Technology team and business users to develop, optimize, and implement business intelligence solutions that enhance business process efficiency, effectiveness, and outcomes. This unique opportunity offers a chance to work closely with the Finance Technology team to assess processes and identify technology and operational improvements. You will also gain expertise with Workday Financials, Workday Prism, Workday Adaptive, and Workday Reporting & Analytics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support financial reporting and analytics needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations.
  • Optimize data models and queries for performance and scalability.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on best practices for data visualization and reporting.
  • Engage with senior business leaders to understand their reporting needs and deliver solutions that drive business decisions.
  • Develop and implement technology solutions, including models, repositories, dashboards, and reports, within a complete functional and technical architecture.
**Requirements**:

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated and proven experience in a Power BI Developer or Analyst role.
  • Proven track record of creating impactful data visualizations and reports.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior business leaders.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented environment, with a focus on collaboration and knowledge sharing.
