Geospatial Mapping Expert

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in geospatial mapping and GIS projects to join our team. This role requires a highly skilled individual who can analyze complex data, track project metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in geospatial mapping or GIS projects.
  • At least 6 months of experience in advanced map data analysis.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Python, SQL, PostgreSQL, and other querying languages is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • A strong focus on attention to detail, accuracy, and quality output.
  • Good time management skills and adaptability in work hours.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with the team to resolve daily customer build issues.
  • Track and report build delivery KPIs, proposing improvement actions.
  • Investigate map issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Analyze and map vendor data, ensuring quality and coverage.
  • Improve data quality by reviewing spectrum issues, running probe jobs, and identifying anomalies.
  • Apply coding changes and modeling updates where necessary.
  • Evaluate and suggest improvements for map features like search and guidance.
  • Use AI tools to analyze feature issues and create training models.
