  • We are seeking an experienced database administrator with expertise in SQL Server upgrades, Always On Availability Groups, and cloud migrations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in upgrading, migrating, and maintaining mission-critical databases to ensure performance, availability, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute SQL Server upgrade projects
  • Design, configure, and manage Always On Availability Groups (HA/DR) in production environments
  • Plan and implement database migrations to AWS with minimal downtime
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL Server performance
  • Perform regular backups, restores, and disaster recovery testing
  • Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to ensure database reliability and efficiency
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including runbooks and standard operating procedures
  • Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and best practices
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA in enterprise environments
  • Proven experience upgrading SQL Server to 2022 in production environments
  • Strong knowledge of Always On Availability Groups and other HA/DR solutions
  • Hands-on experience with AWS database migration
  • Proficiency in T-SQL development, performance tuning, and query optimization
  • Solid understanding of backup/recovery strategies and database security
  • Familiarity with PowerShell or automation tools for database administration
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
