Job Title: Renovation Project Director

This is a high-profile position in project management. As Renovation Project Director, you will be accountable for delivering renovation projects on schedule and within the approved budget.

  • Develop strategies to deliver timely completion of Refurbishment, Food Court, and other projects under capex Budget.
  • Conduct thorough checks and certifications of project claims and payments.
  • Oversee stakeholder management across departments and locations.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation measures.
  • Monitor compliance with REIT obligations.
  • Present regular reports as part of MIS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Manage design reviews, coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with project-level regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for smooth project execution.
  • Coordinate between teams and audit teams.
  • Work closely with banking agencies when necessary.
  • Conduct central HSE audits of Capex Projects.
  • Review building designs and specifications for summary reports.
  • Generate reports to track project progress.
  • Verify approvals for Capex Project works.
  • Reconcile budgets and costs incurred.
  • Process purchase requests and orders for Capex projects.
  • Track project payments and coordinate with leasing and Operations teams.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Accounts, Compliance, Procurement, and Tax teams.
  • Hand over completed projects to OPS/Tenant teams.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture, with 8-10 years of experience in project management, planning, and execution.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Familiarity with project management software like AutoCAD, MSP, MS Office, SAP, etc.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Expertise in building construction/Refurbishment projects.
  • Effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Partnership building through negotiation and collaboration.
  • Understanding commercial property developments and technical proficiency to engage effectively with teams/partners.
  • Awareness of industry best practices and latest trends.
  • Knowledge of commercial, legal, and regulatory aspects.
