System Tester

About the role:

We are expanding our Quality Engineering team to focus on defining & refining, building and maintaining an evolving suite of tests to ensure Enterprise Readiness with the highest quality.

You will work with Developers, Solution Architects and Product Managers to define and develop optimal test coverage for various use cases.

  • Customer Use case driven System Testing for a unified fast file and object platform used for modern data.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to validate Customer use cases in your test environment.
  • Own and drive testing to completion: review product requirements, design docs, and customer use cases to build test plans, test cases, and develop automation.
  • Work with Dev/PM, Support and Escalation teams to help reproduce and root cause customer issues identifying, analyzing, and documenting any defects discovered during testing.

What you bring to the team:

  • Hands-on experience in software testing and test automation - preferably within an enterprise storage product environment where Distributed Systems architecture is key.
  • Experience working closely in flash storage is a big plus.
  • Good knowledge of file systems, file system protocols, and data replication: Read/Write (IOPs, Latency, Bandwidth), I/O datapath, NFS, SMB, S3, ACLs, networking layers, and replication specifics.
  • Strong Automation skills, Familiarity with automation tooling like pytest is a plus.
