Senior Clinical Programmer

This role is accountable for the comprehensive execution of statistical programming, data review, and analytics development aspects across assigned studies or project-level initiatives. As a key contributor, you will ensure that drug-development plans are executed efficiently with timely and high-quality deliverables.

Main accountabilities include:

  • Responsibility for planning, monitoring, and documenting projects, as well as analyzing information -Coordinate activities of all programmers either internally or externally assigned to study/project work -Contribute to project-level standards -Review and discuss data structures and participate in data review activities.
  • Responsibility for developing programming specifications of analysis datasets or user requirement documentation -Contributes to cost center goals and objectives -Broadens technical knowledge via departmental activities, literature reading, and experiential learning.
  • May train junior team members -Skilled in collaboration across project teams -Responsible for quality control and audit readiness of all assigned statistical programming deliverables as well as accuracy and reliability of statistical analysis results -Reporting of technical complaints/adverse events/special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt -Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable)
