The role of a Cloud Data Engineer is a crucial part of our organization's strategy to leverage data-driven insights and drive business growth. As a Cloud Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable data processing pipelines using GCP services such as Dataproc, Dataflow, and Cloud Functions.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code in Python or Java, with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and product managers, to design and implement data solutions that meet business needs.
  • Ensure data security, compliance, and governance by implementing appropriate controls and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in cloud computing, big data, and machine learning.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in designing and developing large-scale data processing systems on GCP.
  • Strong expertise in Python or Java programming languages.
  • Hands-on experience with GCP services, including Dataproc, Dataflow, and Cloud Functions.
  • Excellent understanding of big data technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, including Google Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Cloud SQL.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including continuous integration and delivery.
