Enterprise Data Engineer Position

The role involves leading the development of a market management pilot utilizing the Azure + Power Platform stack. As an experienced professional, you will design and implement data ingestion pipelines using Fabric Dataflows Gen2 or ADF, landing in OneLake/ADLS with scheduled refresh and incremental patterns.

You will partner with the AI Builder team to expose curated datasets, implementing row-level security, semantic models, and DAX measures. Your tasks will include developing Power BI pages for market mapping, territory KPIs, and workflow status, optimizing refresh and performance.

In addition, you will implement onboarding and termination workflows using Power Automate, including forms, approvals, SLA timers, and immutable audit trails. You will also configure security and governance, including Entra ID RBAC, Key Vault, private endpoints/VNET, logging, and alerts in Azure Monitor/Log Analytics.

To succeed in this position, you should have deep expertise in Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Power BI, Power Automate, Entra ID, Key Vault, and Azure Monitor. Strong data modeling and BI craft skills are essential, including star schemas, semantic layer design, and DAX performance tuning.

Hands-on integration experience with secure file drops, APIs, connectors, and gateways (hybrid/on-prem) is required. A security and governance mindset, including RBAC, secrets, tenant policies, and audit logs, is necessary. You should be able to collaborate with Python/dbt engineers and communicate trade-offs to both technical and business stakeholders.
