Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Big Data Engineer to join our team, with a focus on delivering high-impact projects and mentoring junior engineers. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in a technical environment and is passionate about coaching and developing the next generation of talent.

This role involves working on live client projects, providing technical support, contributing to solution delivery, and serving as a go-to technical mentor for less experienced team members.

We value collaboration, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills. Our ideal candidate will be able to lead by example, translate complex requirements into clear technical tasks, and contribute to the development of ETL processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of professional experience in Big Data engineering.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Hadoop, Hive, HDFS, Apache Spark, and Kafka.
  • Solid object-oriented development experience with Scala and Java.
  • Strong SQL skills with experience working with large data sets.
  • Practical experience designing, installing, configuring, and supporting Big Data clusters.
  • Deep understanding of ETL processes and data integration strategies.
  • Proven experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers in a team setting.
