Health, Safety and Environment Specialist
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring health, safety and environmental standards are implemented and maintained across all regions. This includes guiding operations and project services in implementing policies and procedures, while also overseeing risk assessments and compliance checks.
This role requires strong project management skills to implement global priorities effectively through standardized project management practices. The successful candidate will facilitate effective communication and collaboration between teams, promoting a unified approach to health, safety and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and maintain HSW policies and procedures globally, ensuring consistency and adherence to global standards.
- Oversee Operations and Project Services risk assessments and compliance checks, ensuring alignment with GHSMSS.
- Maintain high standards of quality across all HSW initiatives, including execution of internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with regional leaders to understand employee needs and promote participation in feedback mechanisms.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Strong project management skills, with experience in implementing global priorities.
- Proficiency in navigating H&S reporting systems and Smartsheet.
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects, while also contributing to the development of a positive HSW culture worldwide. You will have the opportunity to work closely with regional leaders and teams, and contribute to the delivery of our global HSW strategy.
OthersThis role may involve additional duties as requested by the H&S and H&W Director. Proficiency with H&S reporting systems and Smartsheet is essential.
