Health and Safety Professional

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will oversee global HSW policies and procedures, ensuring consistency across all regions. They will work closely with regional teams to implement best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends in the HSW space.

  • Implementation and Compliance: Guide Operations and Project Services in implementing HSW policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to global standards.
  • Risk Assessments and Compliance Checks: Oversee risk assessments and compliance checks to ensure adherence to GHSMSS.
  • Global Standardization of Policies and Procedures: Coordinate and enforce standardized global HSW policies and procedures to ensure consistency across all regions.
  • Development and Implementation: Manage the development, distribution, and implementation of HSW standards and procedures globally.
  • Review and Update HSW Policies: Regularly review and update HSW policies and procedures to reflect changes in regulations, emerging risks, and advancements in health and safety practices.
  • Project Management: Implement global priorities effectively through standardized project management practices across operations and project services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficient navigation of Sphera, Cority, and Oracle platforms to identify trends and prepare reporting.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to promote a unified approach to health, safety, and wellbeing.
  • Ability to analyze investigation outcomes, develop corrective and preventive measures, and communicate lessons learned globally.
