Job Summary:

Key responsibilities include designing, developing and implementing complex healthcare interfaces using various technologies. The role requires strong expertise in HL7 standards and practical experience working with leading interface engines.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop healthcare interfaces using Corepoint, Mirth Connect (NextGen Connect), and Rhapsody.
  • Perform rigorous testing of interfaces to ensure data integrity, message routing accuracy and system reliability.
  • Monitor interface performance and provide timely support for production issues.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all interfaces.
  • Write and execute SQL queries.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical staff.

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in healthcare integration/interface development.
  • Strong knowledge of HL7 standards.
  • Experience with various communication protocols.
  • Hands-on expertise in at least one interface engine: Corepoint, Rhapsody, or Mirth.
  • Good understanding of healthcare workflows, EHR data exchange and interoperability concepts.
  • Exposure to troubleshooting and debugging tools within interface engines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
