Commercial Project Manager

Job Overview:
A Commercial Project Manager is required to manage and control project documentation, prepare Bills of Quantity (BOQ), calculate materials and labor requirements, evaluate proposed variations, verify costs and invoices, conduct regular progress reports, and finalize payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-Contract:
- Develop feasibility studies and budgets for proposed projects.
- Assist estimators in pricing tender projects based on contractor quotations.
- Quantity take-off and materials surveying based on plans and specifications.
- Prepare all tender documents such as BOQ, Specifications, Addendum, Tender Analysis, and other tender documents.
- Post-Contract:
- Develop contract documents.
- Review and approve contractor's monthly payments and issue payment certificates.
- Evaluate and suggest recommendations on variation orders.
- Verify and review contractor's invoices to ensure strict compliance with specifications.
- Evaluate final project cost and prepare final account documents.
- Evaluate contractor's claim.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying from a recognized university.
- 10 years overall experience in a comparable scope and size to contracting companies.
- Experience in various building and infrastructure projects preferred.
- Knowledge of FIDIC and local governing laws.
