Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Fellow to join our team. As a Technical Fellow, you will be responsible for leading the technical design review for Cluster, Display, and IVI products to meet the functional requirements, validation requirements, and Visteon standard design requirements within given cost targets.
Key Responsibilities
Review HW design for IVI and Cluster products to meet the functional requirements, to achieve the validation requirements while following the Visteon design guidelines. Bring-in innovation in design approach to achieve tight cost and quality targets.
Review and approve the design at each quality check gate during hardware development and ensures the product is being built with intended cost and quality. Work closely with engineering team to ensure resolution of inter-competency issue in benefit of program timeline and compliance to requirements and quality. Drives continuous skill upgrade among hardware engineers by visualizing the upcoming technical challenges, provide technical guidance to design team.
Desired Competencies
- Deep knowledge of embedded electronics products, strong capability in component level design and interface verification, shall be able to carry out detailed design reviews.
- Well experienced on multi-core processors and SoCs regarding features and interfacing details
- High speed interfaces like DDR4, NOR Flash, eMMCs, Ethernet etc.
- Shall be able to identify the design risks upfront and provide resolutions.
- Well versed on design practices to achieve demanding cost and reliability targets.
- Well experienced on HW design trends for Mobility, Connectivity, Display, Driver Information
- Shall have understanding on EMC requirements and how to build a reliable product for automotive domain.
- Shall have appreciation for DFM, DFT, DFMEA, Built-in-quality.
- Should be able to guide the team for delivering successful product development with optimized resource utilization.
