Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Support Engineer to join our team at Magna Electro Castings Limited. As a Hardware Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware issues, and ensuring smooth operations of hardware systems at our facility.

Key Responsibilities:
• Responding to technical support calls from end users of computers and software applications
• Setting up and installing new computers, networks, and software
• Setting up user accounts and profiles on the network
• Installing updates, known as patches, to software applications
• Installing and configuring operating systems, anti-virus software, and other applications such as Microsoft Office
• Diagnosing and fixing network problems and hardware or software faults
• Maintaining inventories of hardware and software
• Managing backups of servers, in case of data loss
• Setting up and configuring CCTV cameras
• Diagnosing CCTV camera issues

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
• 1 or 2 years of experience in hardware support
• Basic knowledge in CCTV handling
