Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Tax Specialist to join our team in upholding compliance with tax regulations and optimizing tax processes for employees on international assignments. This role is key in handling the tax consequences of global mobility and facilitating a smooth transition for employees across different countries.

The main objective of this position is to reduce tax-related risks and costs, while ensuring that both the organization and its employees adhere to relevant tax laws

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in preparing and filing India tax returns and related deliverables for globally mobile employees within designated deadlines.
  2. Assist in preparing the tax equalization and protection as per Client's policies to employees, ensuring clear understanding and compliance.
  3. Assist in routine compliance work (such as preparing withholding tax computations/advance tax computations, PAN application, e-TDS returns, PF related compliances, responding to notices issued by tax authorities, etc)
  4. Conduct India tax briefing for mobile employees for their International assignments
  5. Visit Income tax office for client related work depending on the requirement 
  6. Liaise with employees for their tax related compliances and to clarify their queries in consultation with seniors
  7. Maintain detailed tax records and documentation for accuracy and future reference.
  8. Stay informed on the latest developments in tax laws and regulations applicable to the practice.
  9. Conduct research on country-specific tax issues, particularly in areas where the organization operates.
  10. Assist in financial management of the engagement (this includes billings, collection, metrics & KPIs tracking).
Requirements:
  • Graduation should be B. Com / BBA / BBM / BMS
  • Experience (if applicable): months/ 1 year of experience (India Tax experience is mandatory)
  • Good knowledge in Accounting, Finance & Taxation
  • Good Communication & Analytical skills
  • Candidates having exposure to MS Office tools (ex. MS Excel, MS word, PPT, etc) will have added advantage
