Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Jira Administrator with excellent communication skills and hands-on experience in managing multiple projects and release trains. The role requires setting Jira standards, workflows, and integrations while supporting teams working in a Scaled Agile (SAFe) environment.

The Jira Administrator will be responsible for administering and optimizing Jira/Confluence environments, defining standards, workflows, dashboards, and reports across projects, and supporting Agile Release Trains and Scrum of Scrums.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and optimize Jira/Confluence environments.
  • Define standards, workflows, dashboards, and reports across projects.
  • Support Agile Release Trains and Scrum of Scrums, including PI Planning boards.
  • Integrate Jira with tools like GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Provide coaching, training, and reports for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Ensure platform stability, upgrades, and best practices adoption.

Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Required Qualifications:
  • 4–7 years of Jira Administration experience.
  • Required Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Jira workflows, customization, and automation.
  • Experience supporting Scaled Agile/SAFe programs.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and multitasking skills.
  • Familiarity with integrations, APIs, and scripting.
