Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Migration Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data migration, ETL processes, and testing.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the testing team and ensuring the smooth migration of data. Key responsibilities include:

  • Understanding the existing ecosystem of the data being migrated
  • Preparing test strategies and plans for the migration process
  • Collaborating with developers to create automated testing frameworks
  • Defining test scenarios and preparing test data
  • Analyzing data or code related issues for root cause

In addition to these responsibilities, the candidate will need to have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams is also essential.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working with Ab Initio and manual testing
  • Strong understanding of generic frameworks in A&I, parameterization in graphs, psets, plans
  • Strong understanding of xml, xfr, MD Hub for data lineage, data quality
  • Understanding of SQL, ETL processes, and data migration
  • Familiarity with Unix shell scripts and AWS
