Job Title: Data Migration Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing data migration processes to ensure smooth transition of data between systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data migration strategies to meet business requirements.
  • Design and build robust data integration pipelines to move data between systems.
  • Ensure data quality by implementing data validation processes and verifying the accuracy of migrated data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that data migration aligns with business requirements and technical constraints.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in data engineering, with hands-on experience in building and managing data pipelines, integrations, and migrations.
  • Solid understanding of Genesys platforms (Genesys Cloud, Genesys Engage) and experience with their data models, APIs, and reporting capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Connect and its data integration capabilities, including experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) like S3, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
  • Strong experience designing and implementing ETL processes, using tools like Apache Kafka, Apache NiFi, Talend, or AWS Glue.
  • Expertise in data modeling, data transformation, and working with both structured and unstructured data.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala for data manipulation, automation, and integration.

The estimated salary range for this role is £60,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
