Senior Cybersecurity Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.

About This Role

  • This position involves leading the investigation, analysis, and remediation of high-severity security incidents.
  • You will be responsible for performing advanced threat hunting and anomaly detection across networks and endpoints.
  • You will also manage and fine-tune security tools, including SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint security solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Investigate and analyze security incidents to identify root causes and recommend remediation strategies.
  2. Develop and implement incident response plans to ensure timely and effective response to security incidents.
  3. Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and patch vulnerabilities.
  4. Maintain knowledge of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with hands-on experience in incident response, threat hunting, and security operations.
  • Expertise in SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight)
  • Strong knowledge of endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
  • Certifications (Preferred): CISSP, CISM, CEH, GCIA, GCIH, or equivalent
