IT Application Manager Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to lead our development team as an Application Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software applications using .Net framework and RESTful services.
  • Manage code repositories on platforms like GitHub and oversee the progress of multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ensure high-quality code, proper technical documentation, and security and integrity of code and data.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between technical requirements and business objectives.
  • Develop and implement project plans, monitor progress, and deliver results on time.
  • Provide strategic recommendations on modern technologies and tools to enhance and optimize the current application stack.

Key Requirements:

  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience in the development and management of software applications.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, designing, and defining project scope.
  • Experience in cloud services such as Azure App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps or equivalent AWS services.
  • Microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing using Azure Functions or AWS Lambda.
  • Proficiency with project management tools like JIRA.
  • Experience with software deployment automation and other technology suites is preferred.

Necessary Soft Skills:

  • Ability to communicate precise requirements to development teams and coordinate cross-functional tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
