Job Overview:

The Cloud Engineer II will play a pivotal role in shaping the overall architecture of cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, scalability requirements, and industry best practices.

This position requires collaboration with stakeholders, implementation of AWS monitoring systems, and development of strategies for optimizing AWS costs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and highly available AWS architectures to support business growth.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into robust AWS solutions (DevOps, Development, Security).
  • Implement AWS monitoring systems and security measures to safeguard AWS environments and ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies.
  • Evaluate industry regulations and internal security policies to ensure alignment and implement strategies for compliance.
  • Develop strategies for optimizing AWS costs without compromising performance or security.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 7-9 years of experience in Information Technology with a strong background in cloud computing.
  • Strong experience implementing access control using IAM and knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with repository management (Git), IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible Tower, AWS CloudFormation) and scripting capability.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and team members.
