Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect to lead our cloud solutions engineering efforts. With 8+ years of experience in solutions engineering and 7+ years in presales, specifically in Cloud & Virtualization domain, the ideal candidate will design and propose cloud architecture using open-source cloud orchestrators like CloudStack, Virtualization, and automation technology in complex multi-tenant environments.

The successful Solutions Architect will engage proactively with customers and prospects to demonstrate our solutions and communicate key differentiators. Additionally, they will assist customers with initial product evaluations and testing to set the stage for successful implementation.

The key responsibilities include connecting technical requirements with business needs for project success, responding to RFIs or RFPs, highlighting product differentiators, preparing and delivering solution presentations or technical proposals, managing/leading technical validation activities, including Proof Of Concepts, and building relationships, enabling partners to find opportunities.

Requirements
  • Experience implementing cloud solutions in enterprises
  • Thorough understanding of Cloud Technologies, Private Cloud Platforms (VCloud, OpenStack, CloudStack), Virtualization concepts (ESXi/KVM), container technologies (Kubernetes)
  • Strong knowledge of network and application security, infrastructure hardening, security baselines, web server, database security
  • Knowledge of enterprise products and solutions (Storage, Security, Compute)
  • Excellent written communication skills, experience preparing technical proposals, RFP responses, BoQs
  • High presentation skills, composure in front of customers/prospects
  • Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced international environments
  • Proven experience managing Proof Of Concept activities in Cloud Domain
  • Takes responsibility for projects and strategic initiatives
