Responsibilities & Outcomes

  • Deliver engaging lessons aligned with Cambridge standards and school academic plans.
  • Submit lesson plans on time (90% or higher) and track student progress through fair assessments and timely feedback.
  • Act as mentors in discipline, values, and life skills, modeling our school's core values (Standards, Coach, Ownership, Respect, Evolve).
  • Contribute to hostel supervision, student activities, and pastoral care in a boarding school environment.
  • Embrace professional development, English immersion, and technology adoption.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and leadership to support student growth.

Qualifications & Skills

  • A graduate degree in elementary education or any related field with a diploma in elementary education (D.El.Ed) or equivalent is required.
  • A strong foundation in child-centered teaching methods (activity-based, play-based, experiential learning)
  • The ability to teach multiple subjects (English, Math, EVS, basic Science) at the foundational level.
  • An understanding of child psychology and developmental milestones.
  • Patience, empathy, and creativity in handling younger learners.
  • Experience with phonics, reading programs, and numeracy building is an asset.
  • The ability to build classroom routines and discipline suited for younger children without authoritarian methods.
  • Strong English communication skills (training support available).
  • Proficiency with technology and a willingness to use smart classrooms.
  • Boarding school experience is an advantage.
